A machinery safety and compliance firm had the expertise. They needed a marketing system that helped the right people find it.

Knox Thomas is a machinery health and safety, certification, and compliance company based in Longridge, England. Led by Tom Chaldecott, they work in a technical space where trust matters.
Their audience needs more than surface-level marketing. They need confidence that the company understands machinery risk, certification requirements, compliance standards, and the practical realities of keeping people and businesses safe.

The expertise was there. The system to amplify it was not.

Before the engagement — March to June 2025. Active users, new users, and event count were all down against the prior period.
Knox Thomas was not starting from zero. They already had a library of useful content and a strong point of view in their industry. The problem was that the content was not reaching enough of the people it was built to help. Valuable ideas were sitting in place instead of working across search, social, video, and long-term brand presence.
For a company with deep technical knowledge, that created a gap: the expertise was there, but the system to amplify it was not.
Knox Thomas needed more than a few SEO edits or a few social media posts. They needed a repeatable marketing engine: something that could organize their ideas, strengthen their search presence, support their content pipeline, and help the business show up consistently in front of the right audience.
The goal was to help Knox Thomas turn its existing expertise into a stronger and more consistent digital presence. This meant building systems that could support search visibility, content distribution, social growth, thought leadership, and ongoing business development.
The project needed to:

The strategy started with a simple idea: Knox Thomas did not need to manufacture expertise. They needed to distribute it better. That changed the shape of the work. Instead of treating SEO, social media, video, and coaching as separate tasks, we helped build a connected content system around the knowledge Knox Thomas already had.
A helpful article could become a stronger search asset. A technical insight could become a LinkedIn post. A conversation could become a podcast episode. A service page could be tightened for clarity, search intent, and conversion. The goal was not to create noise. The goal was to make Knox Thomas easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to understand.
A few principles guided the work:

The expertise behind the content: real machinery, real inspections, real compliance work.
We worked with Knox Thomas to improve the way their knowledge showed up online.
That included general SEO optimization, content refinement, and a blog content system designed to make their articles more discoverable and useful over time. The work focused on strengthening pages and posts around the topics their audience was already searching for, while keeping the language practical, credible, and aligned with the company’s technical authority.

Once the search foundation was in place, we helped Knox Thomas expand its content across multiple channels. That included a YouTube content system, podcast launch, LinkedIn content system, and supplemental LinkedIn calendars.
Each channel gave Knox Thomas another way to share its knowledge, build familiarity, and stay visible with clients, prospects, and industry connections.
A major part of the work was coaching. We met regularly with Tom and the Knox Thomas team to discuss marketing direction, content ideas, business opportunities, and practical next steps. We were also available when they had ideas, needed research, or wanted another strategic perspective.
That relationship mattered. Knox Thomas was not just looking for a vendor to complete tasks from a distance. They wanted the kind of support that felt embedded in the business.
In practice, we operated much like an in-house marketing team: helping shape ideas, refine direction, build systems, and support growth over time.

Together, these pieces gave Knox Thomas a more complete marketing infrastructure: one that could support visibility, consistency, and long-term growth.

After the engagement — September 2025 to July 2026. Active users, new users, and event count all up sharply against the prior period.
Knox Thomas’s online presence has grown significantly since the engagement began. Their social media presence has increased, the business has expanded, and the company has grown in staff and service offerings. They have also continued to gain traction online while becoming more visible through in-person events.
The result is more than a cleaner content calendar or stronger search presence. Knox Thomas now has a marketing system that better matches the strength of the business behind it.
“Page50 has been excellent to work with, providing top-tier service and support in digital marketing and coaching. Stuart and his fantastic team have truly taken our business to the next level, not only refining our marketing strategy but also pushing me to develop both the business and my own approach to marketing. It genuinely feels like having our own in-house marketing team, which is exactly what I wanted. Stuart’s insights and experience have been invaluable, not just in marketing but in general business advice as well. Thanks, Stuart, for your ongoing support — I would strongly recommend Page50 to any business looking to elevate its marketing and overall strategy.”
Knox Thomas already had valuable knowledge. The opportunity was building systems that helped that knowledge reach more of the right people.
The strongest content came from the company’s actual insight, not generic keyword stuffing.
Blogs, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcasting work better when they are part of a repeatable system instead of disconnected one-off efforts.
The work became more valuable because we were not just producing content. We were helping guide the thinking behind it.
For Knox Thomas, the goal was not just marketing support. It was having a team that could help carry ideas from strategy to execution.
